Avani is an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist (Associate) with a
Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Professional Diploma in
Clinical Psychology. She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
from the Beck Institute and works with adults and young adults
navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation
difficulties, interpersonal concerns, trauma and neurodivergence.
She also has experience in psychological assessment, using
standardized assessment tools to understand cognitive, emotional,
behavioural, and personality related concerns for clinical
understanding and treatment planning. Her approach to therapy is
integrative and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour
Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and
Mindfulness-based interventions.
Avani strives to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where
clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She views therapy as a collaborative process and works at a pace that
feels manageable for each client, balancing exploration and insight
with practical strategies for meaningful change.
